Government and state-company programmes
The largest volume of industrial procurement in Iraq flows through state-owned companies under the relevant ministries, notably in oil, refining, electricity and heavy industry, via public tenders, direct invitations to registered vendors and framework contracts.
Al Afaq Alaabirah, our Baghdad entity, is a registered approved vendor with North Refineries Company and North Oil Company. We manage vendor-registration files, prequalification, technical submittals and clarification handling on behalf of the manufacturers we represent, and carry the interface with Iraqi payment cycles, site conditions and administrative processes.
